Cedar Key Bayshrimper at Lowtide

Cedar Key, Florida is where this painting was done. Bay shrimpers stay close to shore and go out just for the day to catch shrimp. Thee boats never seem to be kept in first class order but that gives them lots of character for artists like myself. The low tide with oysters in the mud made for some nice reflections to work with.
