Lanier Mansion

The Lanier Mansion is located in Madison, Indiana. When Sarah and I traveled there we fell in love with the town. The mansion seemed a logical place to do a show but working on the painting proved to be difficult because during my painting portion of the show, the fire department decided to do a very noisy practice session across the street. It went on for over an hour so concentration on the painting was hindered. Persistence prevailed and I finished the piece and Sarah did a nice interview with the keeper of the mansion.
