Cape Porpoise, Maine is where this painting was done. Early morning light and calm winds made the water look like glass. Always a bit of a challenge when painting to get this smooth even surface graduating from light to dark blue. This was actually a very large and well kept boat house and I loved the dark trees on the left to give the painting some strength.
