This large canvas was done for one of my pages in a book I did called “Southern Shores”. The very warm tones of the sky and grass compliment nicely the rich dark colors of the forgotten hull that had been stripped or rotted away leaving little more than remnants of what looked to me like dinosaur bones. The foreground is painted very loose but suggests enough of the scene so as not to take away from the more important parts of the painting, mainly the hull.
