This long dock is just a few hundred yards from our house and studio here in St. Augustine. However, during a hurricane most of it was washed away. The little spit of land jutting out into the water (called Salt Run) was the original site of the very first lighthouse here in St. Augustine. Only a bit of the foundation is left.
