This is another one of my favorite paintings I have done in the mountains. Summer flowers or oranges and purples dotted the roadside and the sense of spring gave everything a freshness and renewal. The rusted roof of the barn reflects some of the sky blue colors and the brilliant sun lit grass next to it gives a nice complimentary contrast.
