I packed up my easel and drove to the Xynides Boat Yard here in St. Augustine. I set up to paint and spent a few quiet hours just outside the gate  of the Xynides Boat Yard to paint the scene below. It was overcast making it pleasant.

I wanted to paint inside the boat yard but No Trespassing signs were on the gate however during my painting the owner drove up and recognized me from our PBS “Painting and Travel” show and granted me access in the future.
I’m looking forward to working here again.
